**SATURDAY 5/4 @ 6:00 PM
The exhibition sprang out of a project run last year in Jenin refugee
camp by Shaml, the Palestinian Refugee and Diaspora Centre, in collaboration
with the Popular Committee for the Disabled, Jenin Camp. The project brought
together 21 French artists, under the direction of Joss Dray, and the
inhabitants of Jenin refugee camp for 10 days of creative workshops. One
of the results was this current exhibition of photographs, maps, and texts
that witness the transformation of Jenin Refugee Camp during the last
12 years, from urban, social and cultural viewpoints.

**ART FILM SCREENING: "The Definitive Dali"
**WEDNESDAY 9/4 @ 6:00 PM
Salvador Dali is unquestionably one of the greatest painters of the twentieth
century. This film presents Dali's entire oeuvre-- painting, sculpture,
writing, fashion and film -- in the context of his extraordinary life
and international career. It has been constructed through a combination
of specially shot location footage, archive film, feature film material,
rostrum filming of Dali's paintings and interviews with Dali's friends
and colleagues. The narration of the film has been drawn from Dali's own
writings, principally, "My Secret Life" and "The Unspeakable
Confessions of Salvador Dali" but also critical and other writings.

**WEDNESDAY 23/4 @ 6:00 PM
Picasso's works are uniquely recognizable, yet no other artist
has successfully mastered so many creative styles. He has dominated modern
art with his prodigious outpouring of paintings and sculpture and given
us new ways to look at art. This film provides us with a close-up look
at both the lives and works of the world's most famous artist; Picasso.
We see him creating art in his most favorite settings and his relationships
and his struggles are also covered in this encyclopedic film. (Dir. Didier
Baussy-Oulianoff, Documentary, English Language, 82 min., 1985)
