Christa Lada'a was born in Germany, she moved with her Palestinian husband to Ramallah in 1979. Immediately, Lada'a says, she fell in love with the landscape in Palestine, with the olive trees, stones and flowers. In 1996 she started working intensively on capturing the beauty of the country using photography. Lada'a has exhibited previously in Germany, this is her first exhibit in Palestine. The exhibit features pictures taken of the rapidly vanishing landscape of Palestine in the years 1992 through 2000.
