The Artist:

A show of paintings and paper works, the exhibit features thirty one abstract compositions of oil colors inspired by Palestine's natural landscape and trees, with emphasis on almond, olive and fig trees.

Halaby’s paintings are dense with color and are crowded with brush strokes of different sizes, they evoke a sense of life in motion. The colors she says: “represent Palestine’s olives and almond trees”…the brush strokes, she assures us: “are far from random”.
